4.0 excellent | noahconstrictor | May 14th 18 | Angelus Apatrida certainly isn't redefining the genre of thrash metal but this is a great homage to thrash of the 80s and 90s. Great riffs, great lyrics, and of course, mind-blowing solos. Simple but effective. Definitely worth a re-listen, and I could easily see these guys opening for any of the big 4 without batting an eye.

4.0 excellent | ChaoticVortex | May 6th 18 | Angelus Apatrida does Megadeth better than Megadeth themselves. Energetic and well-written melodic thrash, with some Bay Area technicality and great production. Favorite songs: Betrayed, Farewell, Downfall of the Nation. Excellent stuff.

3.7 great | Voivod STAFF | May 5th 18 | The Spaniards pick up from where Hidden Evolution concluded, only this time around, their new material sounds a tad more urgent, thanks to the short fixes of tech thrash that have infiltrated the album, but also the vocals which have more color in them than ever before. Cabaret de la Guillotine lies easily among the best thrash metal anno 2018. Favorite tracks: Ministry of God, Downfall of the Nation.
