I really think this is the best of the silver jews albums. though it may be a bit lacking in production quaility in contrast to their other albums, it really makes up for it by being extremely off-putting, yet remaining catchy. it took me a couple playthroughs to really appreciate their somewhat dark, yet comical lyrics and odd alternative bluegrass/indie rock sound, but i have to say the silver jews has to be one of my favorite bands of all time mainly because of this album.
