| 2.5 average | morrissey EMERITUS | August 26th 06 | Nothing overly original, if one takes only the 80s into account. If you measure this up with the new wave of ...new wave bands, it sinks against the competition. But it's still a decent album, a bit too much filler, and even the best songs (such as "Drug Like") lack any amazing qualities. I would only suggest buying it if you're a big fan of the Killers/Franz Ferdinand/the Bravery/Interpol, and all bands of a similar vein. And even then, this might feel like a weak imitation.

| 4.5 superb | rentford | October 30th 07 | Action Action perhaps should have the title of being the "most under appreciated band". DCYFTTYF is definitely a synth-pop modern classic. It's just one of those albums that you can listen to, over and over again no matter what mood you may be in. That being said, it's not for everyone. If you're not a fan of the genre then by all means, don't even bother trying to give this one a listen. If new wave is your thing though, then this one is definitely worth a try, as this will most likely be on repeat for months to come.

| 0.0 | La Revolucion | February 25th 07 | So...synth pop is only good when it's done really well. And I mean really well. Otherwise it just sounds cheesy. Sadly, Action Action never get past the cheesy level, and only attempt to when they speed things up a little. All in all, it just doesn't work as well as they seem to think it does.
