Uada's second album may lack the immediacy of it's predecessor but the more complex arrangement and variation in songwriting compensate. The omnipresence of their trademark harmonized tremolo riffs/leads and one of the most talented and eclectic black metal vocalist, Uada's show once again they are one of the best melodic black/death band of this generation

This really is fantastic. A mix of melancholic black metal riffs, ferocious drums and a highly
versatile vocal performance. Ranging from typical black metal shrieks and howls, to gutteral death
metal roars.

This record is solid melodic black metal riffs from beginning to end, but others very little in terms of innovation or change throughout the whole thing. Definitely rock solid but not muuch more

Uada's second album shows the band is more than capable of varying their sonic palette, though it doesn't seem to have that "it" factor their debut had. It could be the production, which just misses the mark, or the songwriting which approaches "aimless" at times, but this sits just a notch below that solid album. Give it to their vocalist, Jake Superchi though, he absolutely destroys at every single interval, somehow giving a standout performance on a black metal album.
