As it stands, LP3 is one of the most varied and interesting samplings of music since Porcupine Tree's "The Sky Moves Sideways", and every minute is enjoyable, catchy and interesting. Ratatat manage to keep their signature sound while experimenting with it and taking it to new heights

I really love some tracks like Shiller and Flacon Jab. All the other tracks also have fun things to them, but it all seems to become loopy and annoying at some point, especially after repeated listens. I think the biggest problem it has for me are the short tracks that are not going anywhere on a loop of some elements. They do are interesting elements though, so I can enjoy the album very much still.

i think this album was a step forward for Ratatat. understand that the music they produced this time around must have a greater connection with the artists. although it may not make you want to dance as much as the first two albums, this album portrays more of the epitome of the artists' thoughts and feelings.
after listening to this album a lot (if you're having trouble getting into it, start with track 7, Shempi) go back to the other albums and imagine all of the auras and atmospheres that they lack. not saying i don't like Classics and Ratatat (cuz i love 'em :p) i'm saying that their sound wasn't as mature as it is now. LP3 gives that extra inch of dignity and respect.
overall i say it's a better quality of music.
