Its nice to hear raw Thrash for a change rather than the over produced twiddly stuff that has made Thrash a really boring genre. I thought this album really was superb. THAT solo in where my grave shall stand blew me away!

Cobra Speed Venom is a living proof that 40+ guys still clear the table with old school metal. So yes CSV is a modern day classic and deserves to have 5 and it should also be in the top 10 of the metal albums of 2018.

Viscous death-thrash with excellent riffs and earworm melodies. Impressively, this sounds 100% 80's influenced without sounding like a complete rehash of old ideas. It also is holding the title for Gym AOTY.

The first time in nearly 15 years The Crown releases an album that actually sounds like The Crown. Intense, energetic balls-to-the-wall thrash-influenced melo-death with crushing riffs and great production. Sure it's not very original but it's so damn good to once again hear that sonic ferocity that few contemporary metal band could match up to.
