| 2.0 poor | MontyWelles99 | January 26th 18 | Sad, meaningful at its core, but overall undecipherable unless you read the lyrics, this self-
titled LP by Bugod On His Own can only be described as confusing. I could pick up on the feeling
of dread I imagined the artist was trying to convey, but that only comes with the sound. The
lyrics are vague at best, and read like a collection of abstract poems, worded rather loosely and
taking a second reading to understand. The instrumentals on this LP are repetitive and dull, but I
can't help but get the feeling that that was the artist's intention, to display a melancholic yet
mundane account of the over-exaggerated "struggles" of modern life. At least that's my analysis.
Overall, it seems ambitious in writing, but the sound is too weak to be memorable, and the vocals
leave much to be desired.
Beside's it's on Bandcamp, dunno what I expected.
