This album is one that I truly hold dear not just for the emotionally charged music, but for the variety as well. Most records that try to jump genres does so in a general and rarely effective way. But the heavier tracks like "what the hell is stipulation" and "the fuck stops here" complement the more synth piano driven tracks like "take me home, please" and "get well soon". Also, the more humorous "deathnotronic" and "love reality" not only bring a smile to my face but tell me that James Dewees will always retain some of his humor despite the serious blows that divorce can bring.
