The beats on this album aren't bad, and the rhymes even have a decent flow about them, but it's just so pretentious! I can't listen to much of it before the ridiculous life lessons that they seem so eager to pass down get to me. When music is this clearly pleased with itself, it just grates me.

The lyrics are on par with Lou Reed's in term of creativity but they don't save the album until halfway through. The first half is disposable with the second part being absolutly brilliant. The music can get annoying sometimes though.
