Listening to this band is always an enjoyable experience. No matter how mediocre the song may be, the band always goes at it with full enthusiasm. While I can appreciate the band trying to move out into different genres, the results tend to be very hit or miss. While I think the country flavour works for Stickshifts And Safetybelts, it doesn't help as well on She'll Come Back To Me. This back and forth of hit and miss makes up the general experience of the album. It's not bad, not by any means, but certainly not the bands best.

'Fashion Nugget' is a great alternative rock album that combines a variety of styles into one. While there are some filler tracks and John McCrea's vocals may not be everyone's cup of tea, it's still worth a listen.
