This album is amazing; the quality of the songwriting and the lead guitars is awesome. One of the best tech death albums I've heard is a long while...since Golem

One of the most underrated bands. Very similar to the old In Flames. The music structure revolves around old school melodeath and that is what makes it a classic. Actually if you listen to its very hard to distinguish the various songs on the albums cause they sound the same. Actually this is what makes the album epic. Melodic twin guitar parts with an old raw riffing sound, DT and in flames type of vocals are all present in there.

The forgotten band ...Gates Of Ishtar produce some amazing melodic death metal in this album, with a style akin to Dark Tranquility. This was their last and best release and deserves way more attention than it gets.
