I will say this right now: The Tide and Its Takers isn't so unyielding in comparison to its three predecessors. However, 36 Crazyfists do their hardest to maintain the band's quality with studio album numero quattro, in spite of a few casualties.

A good album in general, some ups and downs, i miss a little od their characteristic sound on choruses, and the verses are starting to grow a little repetitive since they did alot of the same on "Rest Inside The Flames"

As always a superb album by 36 Crazyfists. I really couldn't stop to listen to it for several months.
Everyone who says that this band is just generic metalcore, shoud first listen to Killswitch Engage and then thiink about it again

I really like Brock's voice and that's why I keep coming back to listen to this album. I agree with Damrod. They seem to be stuck on cruise control for this one.

When I first heard this album (downloaded by a friend) it didn't really give me anything. There were a few songs that really impressed me, but then I started listening to it more and more and now I like all the songs on this album. I think it's best 36 crazyfists album to date along with Rest Inside The Flames.

Solid effort from 36 Crazyfists, but this album is somewhat lacking the "new things". In a way, it feels like a redone "Rest Inside The Flames". Still, it definately has it's moments, like "The Back Harlow Road".
Overall it's ok, but I would have expected more to be honest
