This album is no '6 feet deep', but doesn't fall too far down. If you want to gain some Knowledge get this album, thats all it is, Knowledge. My favorite tracks on 'The Pick, The Sickle and The Shovel' :"Twelve Jewelz","Unexplained","Da Bomb","Elimination Process", "The Night the Earth Cried", "Fairy Talez", "Never Gonna Come Back". I just love how musically and lyrically deep it really is. If you want to be entertained, have a good laugh and scratch your head a little, then listen to '6 feet deep'. If you want to learn things a college course would never teach, the truth. Then this is the album for you.r

People talk about how RZA leaving the group was what signaled the end, but I think the album after this one is as good or maybe better than this one. RZA is actually the worst part of this album. His raps all sound like he wrote them a long time ago and now is fitting them lazily into these beats. Everything sounds like a first take from him. Grym Reap on the other hand sounds like he gives a damn and carries the album. Reflecting these trends, the worst song by far (I always skip it) is "Snakes", a thrown-together, lamely-produced number where RZA rhymes "snakes" with "snakes" for one of the boringest Wu-affiliated choruses of all time. If for some reason you hear that song before you hear the rest, don't assume that's what The Pick sounds like.
