Tyfon's Doom play nothing new on Emperor's Path but they are such good apprentices that their blend of NWOBHM, speed and US power metal is so enjoyable that the apparent lack of originality simply does not downgrade the overall experience. The album's replay value remains to be seen and most probably will be low but those who love '80s metal will have a blast with all the tasty leads on Emperor's Path.
