Agape....seen the video for this track and I was all over this band...love at first listen.

Great lyrics, however, For Today can do so much more musically. The album isn't bad but it doesn't reflect the band's talent as much as it could.

solid breakdowns, although appearing at the wrong moments sometimes. some good melodic singing too.

i sorta think they've matured alot in the breakdown scene and really captured the deathcore meaning .. great ablum and insane number of sub-drops but the only thing put down is the variety of guitar melodies and how much is used. i bet the drummer got a hell of a time in this album.. ive never heard a christian band get so heavy (besides impending doom).. mattie has brushed up on his vocals alot and it shows through their shows. For today is a really moving band and i hope to see better and more of them

For a debut album, they pretty much surprised me with what they can do. The guitar melodies are not exactly "minor-scale riffs, then sweep", the deep growls have a full timbre to it, and I can hear some prog-like attempts that aren't so bad.

Not that great. They're musically proficient, but their song structures suck dick, and Manny has some generic ass vocals.

Not bad start for this new Metalcore band, pretty decent breakdowns, very well done breakdowns, awesome death vocals, but clean vocals are meh. They have a tendancy to have a lot of chanting...and some times lame lines like "Ride them cowboy". Maybe next effort they will grow up a bit and cut out the fat in this record. Overall solid cd.

awesome new band. it is a great first effort...i expect great things from these guys in the future. definitely worth a listen by any metalcore fan
