While the Black Legions had some good material,this split remains to be one of the best albums released from the group.

Probably the best release from the Les Légions Noires, a definite icon in the raw black metal genre. These riffs are fire, and altogether the whole split feels very balanced, and bears all the characteristics of an outstanding black metal record from the early '90s. I daresay: in terms of quailty, this is in the same league with the Unholy Trinity.

One of my favorite splits in existence. Both Tepes and Belketre exihibt astonishingly good material all cloaked
under a raw, uncompromising production. This is exactly how I like my black metal; raw, riff laden and no bullshit.
