Lazy trip-hoppy, jazzy rock. Factor in the slow pace and extended length, and it makes for an album that's consistently cool yet never ~fully~ leverages its aesthetic to a psychy journey. When it works like on "Dum Surfer", it's a mega winner, but few tracks manage to attain that level. A cool record that I feel could have been awesome.

Great album, nothing really sound like this, and his voice is so great to listen too. Even if theres no particular song that stand out (at least other than Biscuit Town and The Ooz), the whole album has a amazing vibe that is present until the end

An effort from king krule which sadly falls flat on it's face in comparison to the incredible and beautifully written 6 feet beneath the moon. A dragged out, boring record with some good even great songs but sadly in comparison to his previous works it is unbelievably underwhelming.

I was listening to Jai Paul's "BTSTU" today, and there's that moment where he goes "oi" right before the last hook...that's better than anything on this record
