Great progressive/technical death metal
with cleans that really take the songs to
soaring heights. From ex members of Extol.
A frontrunner for AOTY for me heading into
the fall over taking Raster Density's spot
finally.

This is great if you like Extol. I've heard Fleshkiller before (without knowing they were ex extol) its a little more boring. Not as mind-challenging, still great sound...but a little bland comparing to Extol. Also some riffs here and there looks some Extol ripp off, but well if anyone is entitled to rip off Extol are them. Fave tracks: Inherit and Warfare

The main thing holding this back is the vocals. The cleans are cringe af and the screams are
varied enough but completely basic and don't have any real character to them. That said, this
album is held up almost exclusively by the riffs. Oh god the riffs.
