Band has always been a guilty pleasure for me. I actually did get excited from the four singles that were released and did enjoy the new rock-oriented sound and production. Too bad these were the best four in a cesspool of either uninteresting pop/rap songs and two of the worst songs I've heard this year (Cashed Out, Riot).

Excellent review, OP.rI had really low expectations and I only listened to it because I wanted to see if they're really getting worse with every release (they are) and for the nostalgia from HU.rThis album is weird, it's a mix of metal elements, hip-hop and dance music which don't pair well and sound awful. The party-ish songs wouldn't even fit in a party, hell if i was drunk i wouldn't enjoy them.rIn closing, don't listen to this album even for curiosity.r

Those singles are a huge blue balls since they're the only rock songs on the record. Either way, the singles are decent and some of the others are good too. Your Life is one of their best. Still doesn't stand up to Swan Songs, but it's passable for the time being.
