I usually don't get all shitty and elitist with music, but tresm87 rated this a 5 and Jane Doe a 3. This is the part where we get torches and pitchforks, right?

An absolutely incredible juggernaut of an album that is anything but generic or derivative. Passionate, powerful,
and pummeling. These guys have built off their amazing debut and made an even more consistent behemoth of
varied sound on this metalcore masterpiece. These guys are going to be right up there with August Burns Red
when it's all said and done as the kings of the genre.
Edit: Jane doe is glorified noise and get your pitch forks and torches shitty metal elitists! I could give 7 fucks
about your pitiful opinions on overrated mediocre albums.

Band is good, album is good, but metalcore this generic and derivative could never be a 4.5 fellas. Its enjoyable stuff though, for sure.

Wage War continues crafting generic, safe 'metalcore' music in their second album "Deadweight". Here's the thing: there's nothing here that's notable. While their prior effort utilized the talents of the lead guitarist in songs such as "Alive" and "Youngblood", the talent is severely underutilized in this album; instead opting to go the route of a Tom Morello-esque style in working in bizarre guitar noises. It's an effort that is notable, but doesn't aid in the overall progression of "Deadweight". Among this average second effort, standout tracks include "Southbound", "Don't Let Me Fade Away", "Stitch", and "Never Enough".

As far as commerical metalcore is concerned, it doesn't get much better than this.
