Sad to see such an awesome band fall so far from grace, but luckily they managed to release this gem before they disbanded. While it loses a lot of what made 12 Rods great (the grunge/shoegazy guitar sound, the awesome rhythms, the sometimes progressive song structure) it is still a worthwhile album. 12 Rods have in my eyes always been master of writing catchy as hell music with lovely melodies, and this definately carries over on Lost Time. It is much more straightfoward both in sound and structure, but is an incredibly fun listen.
