| 3.2 good | manosg EMERITUS | July 8th 17 | Walpyrgus Nights is an interesting blend of NWOBHM and punk, similar to what Famous Monsters-era Misfits would play if they were an Iron Maiden cover band. There are also some Thin Lizzy elements, mostly due to the dual guitar leads and solos. Overall, the album contains more hooks than Chris Paul's tackle box after a second round playoff exit and if Walpyrgus improve their songwriting, we might have something special in our hands on their next LP.
