Peripheral Vision manage to retain a cohesive atmosphere while still making the songs stand out by themselves with interesting lyrics, melodies and a cohesive story that flows throughout the record. Good Natures lyrics are often trivial and the songs lack distinctive features making the record blend into one big mess of sunshine shoegaze. Still has some great tracks like Nightlight Girl and Pure devotion tho

I get that this isn?t the masterpiece that PV is, but that never really mattered to me. Good Nature is a piece of definitive summer music for me.

It doesn't live up to the dizzying heights of Peripheral Vision, but then again that doesn't seem to be their goal here. The album breezes by much more nonchalantly and without a sense of urgency than that of any Turnover albums before. The dream pop influences have been brought to the forefront and the post rock and emo crescendos toned down, and while the notable lack of cathartic climaxes is certainly missed, after the perfection of PV I'm pretty glad they didn't try to top that sound. Instead what we have here is a natural progression into a much more easy-going Turnover than we've yet to see, and it's still pretty damn lovely.

Not very innovative, but an extremely catchy and consistent album. There are only 2-3 tracks ("Butterfly Dream" in particular) that are not able to keep up with the rest. The final minute of "Nightlight Girl" is outstanding!
