1.5 very poor | Jade | June 3rd 17 | When Bob Ross gets down to business, you know a landscape is a comin', and it's a comin' rbeautifully. But after so many episodes, it's hard to remember even one gosh darn rpainting! "Gosh, Bob Ross, I sure do love your work, but they're all so beautiful and rimbued with love and peaceful spirit that I just can't tell them apart!" Would Bob Ross rbe sad if you told him this? Probably not. What a great guy. But not everyone can be Bob rRoss. Let's say you're a stumpy, snobbish Canuk who can do some hoops and, once upon a rtime, like everybody he knew died and he made a great album. "Wow, great album, Mr. rPubtler! I especially loved...THE EPIC CRESCENDOING ONE!" "Hrm," says mre. Pubtler, "I rcan bust some more of those out, but my Legacy will be cemented if one Stands Above the rRest...Regine, baby...let's aim for a 2.8 by LP number five. They'll REALLY be loving rFuneral by then, and Bowie won't be around to be disappointed..."

1.5 very poor | DoofusWainwright | July 28th 17 | This is what happens when people overly praise the band's pop moments like 'Sprawl II (Mountains Beyond Mountains)' - you get a whole album of the same shlock and did we not want that.

2.2 poor | Benjamin Kuettel EMERITUS | July 22nd 17 | Like Humanz by Gorillaz from earlier this year, Everything Now by Arcade Fire is a major low for a once incredible band. The mainstream 80s dance rock sound reaches modern The Killers-level banality here, with especially poor lyrics and singing performances. One of the laziest albums I've ever heard from a favorite band of mine, as much as it pains me to say it.

2.0 poor | BlitzPhoenix98 | August 18th 20 | It's unfortunate to see such a once unique and talented sextet of Canadians stoop this low, but I had somewhat foresaw this following the atrocious "I Give You Power". Not all of it manages to be atrocious
though; the title track is a pleasant folk/alternative dance crossover with a nice, infectious chorus while Put Your Money On Me & We Don't Deserve Love are other significant songs due to the former being
rather addictive while the latter is a nice, laid-back side of Arcade Fire but with straightforward, ordinary lyricism.
But yes, the rest however is piss poor. Chemistry is easily the worst Arcade Fire song which sounds like a song from a quiz show, one with some of the worst lyrics of all time ("Come on down, the price is
right!"), but hopefully this is just the band trolling us and hopefully this only being their step backwards. While bands sometimes become uninspired or choose wrong directions, one hopes Arcade Fire's next
output revisits their older days, so I will forget this album.

2.0 poor | bobbydylan | October 14th 19 | Man, this album is very divisive to me. I absolutely love some tracks, Everything Now, Creature Comfort, both versions of Infinite Content, Electric Blue, Good Goddamn, Put Your Money on Me, and We Don't Deserve Love. But i absolutely loathe Signs of Life, Peter Pan and Chemistry. So i dunno.

1.5 very poor | Erwann S. EMERITUS | July 30th 19 | They always had that kind of disco vibe and it was kewl. This is 100% disco and it fucking sucks ass (except for the t/t, which is kinda kewl). If they wanted to be edgy they should have sung with that horrendous Quebecois accent, at least they would have been funny. 1.7

1.0 awful | fog | May 23rd 19 | What do you get when great bands purposefully distance themselves from what made them great to be intentionally difficult? You get amateurish versions of something else, and all their worst tendencies are magnified.

3.0 good | olisz | October 21st 18 | It's true that this album is a dissapointment compared to the others, but I think there are actually some good songs on here and definetly more enjoyable than bad ones. For examble I definetly like the title track and four last songs of the album. It's nice to see them do the thing again, like on suburbs, where they dedicate the last song to the first/title track so the album gets round up a bit.

2.5 average | nickwardmusic | July 31st 17 | A hollow and empty shell of the album before it. Blunt and lazy lyrics mixed with songs that stay entrenched in vapid, dull melodies lead to an overall disappointing album. However, tracks like Everything Now, Electric Blue, and Creature Comfort are bright spots.

2.5 average | JesusCage | July 28th 17 | Definitely their worst efort to date. Still have some great tracks (PYMOM, WDDL) and some
renjoyable ones (Electric Blue, s/t(although this one get's fastidious after a while)).. Some
filler and then... chemistry (don't dig that one at all.. so uninspired and repetitive.. it drags
for what feels like eternity on its 3:34 duration). WDDL prevents this from being average.
Hopefuly is their worst album ever..

3.5 great | Capablanca | July 22nd 17 | After The Suburbs, Reflektor (what a snoozefest this was!) and now this, AF really need to work on
their editing skills.
Edit: after more listenings, an improvement on Reflektor, but not good enough as The Suburbs, and
certainly not in Neon Bible or Funeral level.
