Strong 3 - Rorschach, Deadguy and Kiss it goodbye, all these bands have something in common - Keith Huckins aka the Master guitar player. ,,Rorschach'' extremely experimental band for its time, they dropped some of the best and freakiest hardcore of 90s. ,,Deadguy'' one of the most influential Metalcore bands, their immediate and fast playing full of tempo changes is copied on daily basis. So I've had quite high Expectations and sadly this didn't match them. Kiss it Goodbye is great and fairly original metalcore band, their dark production and their very unorthodox approach to vocals is enjoyable, yet my expectations were higher, because ,,Fixation on a Coworker's'' guitar playing is infamous in Metalcore scene, sadly Huckins doesn't match that here, the riffs are mostly great, my main issue is the build-up playing, the album loses all the immediacy and it is lame and not always well executed. The best guitar work is easily on the spastic ,,Fire drill'' and ,,Sick Day'', but there is bigger problem. The vocals are so lackluster, edgy pretentious repetitive build-up talking, that never actually builds up into anything for half of the album is just boring, thanks god the lyrics are so good. The mixing is strange too, sometimes the guitar is way too low and the vocals are drowned in the music, it's strangely mixed. Overall: the album is very inconsistent for me, maybe you will Be more Into it, give it a try, It certainly has its own charisma. Highlights: ,,Fire Drill'' ,,Ammunition'', ,,Sick day'' ,, Put your head...''
