Incredible, intense, wonderful and at the same time cold, lifeless and utterly desolate. My first experience with Boris music is the best possible in this moment. The sound of damnation and the feeling of being faced with the end of times is intense in this album. All aspects are well harmonized and there is no need to use more weight in the instruments sonority. This is very noticeable on the disc which is just not perfect for reasons i can not explain in words.

Dear starts off with slow sludgy drony shizzle (yeah that's Boris?) to slowly turn into slow sludgy drony shizzle that is fucking engaging, culminating in that apex of a musical moment that the solo in "Dystopia" is.

It's good, but not particularly memorable, nor particularly compelling. Some very heavy stuff as well as some good experimental stuff, but overall a lot of the same old Boris heavy Orange sound with soaring cleans and fun drumming. Feels like a lot of B-sides off their better albums, but done with some of their best musicianship and production.

I found this to be quite a boring album. Sure it has its moments, the climax of Dystopia comes to mind, but these moments are buried under so much tedium that getting to them doesn't really seem worth it. Obviously, I'm not a Boris fan and this album has done nothing to sell me on them.
