lana del rey continues to be one of the most boring, lifeless female artists in the mainstream game with this snoozefest of an album that actually manages to be her worst effort to date thanks to production choices that really don't suit her style at all. avoid this unless you're a lana del rey fan. 1.5

Overrated. Drags on like most other Lana Del Rey albums. This much 808 production does not suit her at all. By pulling that off, she got rid of the only thing that made her music at least a tiny bit distinctive. Not to say there are some decent moments though (Love, Tomorrow Never Came). Its just that this record is way too long and has way too many songs that follow the same exact moody and melancholic sound. I don't understand the hype behind her, excluding some of her earlier work which I thought was pretty decent.
