Elder are back with an album that builds open the sound that the band established on their 2015
release "Lore". This time the band incorporates some new instruments and sounds. I'm now on my 4th
listen and I think the band managed yet again to release another excellent work of art. Albums
gonna be on repeat for a while.

Ride the cosmic wave, bitch. Fuzzy and epic, this might be the best stoner record of the decade. Taking influence from the holy trinity of cosmic riffs (Sabbath, Floyd, Zep) but applying the formula to modern-day production and heaviness, Elder displays a juggernaut of an album, psychy as well as proggy, without ever forgetting to be groovy. Headbang blissfully, my child, as you've started the heaviest and haziest ride you've ever taken.

Awesome psychedlic/prog/stoner metal album. Very often feels like the logical continuity of 70's rock music except with modern day sound and heaviness. Even Pink Floyd-esque at times which is amazing. Some sections do feel excessively long and there is a tendency to sometimes go into random riffing and solos without much musical sense. Still, a brilliant record that manages to be both super cool and musically interesting. A definite re-listen. 4.2

These guys just keep getting better with every album. Great epic metal band. This also has beautiful artwork on the vinyls jacket as well as the inner sleeves. Bravo!

I think this is their worst release since 2008's self-titled. That being said... it's still great, it's still catchy and interesting and at times it sounds incredible. It just doesn't have the same... fire (?) and energy that their previous 2 albums have in spades. This is a more paint-by-numbers version of their sound than I was expecting after 'Lore' took their sound to the next level creatively.
