Bring Me Your Love is an excellent sophomore release which has its foundations on Dallas' melodic chords and the distinctive prowess on his acoustic guitar. In contrast to the debut, this album is more folk-oriented and the use of mandolins, harmonicas, and mandolins make this a different experience. Lyric-wise, Bring Me Your Love is brutally melancholic and concentrates on various stories of loss, guilt, love, and loneliness. Recommendations: "Sleeping Sickness", "The Girl", "Waiting", "The Death of Me".

dallas goes a little too folk-sy and cutesy with this record, with the excellent songwriting of songs such as 'what makes a man' and 'body in a box' being brushed aside for the variety and feel of the record. the album genrally coasts along, through rollicking rhythms and folk-sy instrumentation (such as a harmonica and tambourines), however, this in my opinion buries dallas' nack for his creative songwiritng skills. thankfully, he has since realeased the 'myspace transmissions' which focuses more upon the actual songs themselves, and IS what this should have been, in a shorter length.

Its not a bad thing that Dallas Green's second effort sounds remarkably indifferent from his first efforts. This isnt a bad thing, its just how Dallas is. Despite the unchanging style, Dallas' astounding voice carries a lovely ethereal quality. One of the greatest vocalist's in todays music.rId recommend my favorite tracks, but I always found that with these releases that finding the tracks you fall in love with hinges on what you've listened to and what hits you, either lyrically or musically or however. So, happy listening.

Dallas Green is such a classy human being. Found out about his music through alexisonfire, and the contrast between the two is excellent. I love each and every song on this album, his writing makes me examine the lyrics once more everytime I listen to it. Also pumped for another release from Dallas.

This album is extraordinarily listenable. Though it does suffer from a case of "completely-inoffensive-in-every-way-itis" that's not always a bad thing, and in fact, is downright awesome when it comes to standout tracks "Death of Me," "Body In A Box", and "Sleeping Sickness". Catchy without the compromise.

Dallas Green's follow-up to Sometimes further expands on his particular style of acoustic ballads, this time adding much more instrumentation to the equation than with the previous outing. For this reason as well as a huge step forward in song compositions, the disc easily surpasses his debut. This was a surprising listen, but definitely worth the time.
