3.0 good | Alabaster Jones | April 11th 17 | It's great that there's some new material from Disma out, and these two songs here are pretty good for what they are in that Incantation-by-Funebraum kind of way the band has always operated with, but it's true that they haven't changed all that much at all besides the production sounding a bit beefier than usual. The Graveless Remains is a solid mission statement for what their next LP would sound like, as the production does give it a more claustrophobic and tightened feel. The songwriting here is nothing new, obviously, but it is very solid, and probably is far from the best material they've written during these past four years. That said, I will be listening attentively for their sophomore full-length.
