Good album, not as good as their debut. But good album. They dont change much soundwise. But theyre just as solid, if anything its just that Out of Exile is just less captivating and powerful than their first album as a whole. While it still does have several pieces worth noting, so dont ignore this album by any means.

Audioslave had such a hype going into their second release due to the smashing success of their debut, sadly the hype was far too high. While Morello pulled through with some of the most mindbending meterial he has put out to date, the lyrics and overall vocals for the songs stunk. They were halfbaked and thats the reason why this album fell short to the last one.

Out of Exile blends the grungy heartfelt vocals of Chris Cornell and Tom Morello's distinctive guitar play in a convincing and powerful manner, creating a heavy result with a ballsy attitude. In terms of music, Morello's guitar playing is focused on power chords rather than his usual unorthodox effects, while the duet of Wilk and Commerford are once again tight and vigorous, exhibiting one of the most consistent rhythm duets outthere. Recommendations: "Be Yourself", "Doesn't Remind Me", "Your Time Has Come", "Drown Me Slowly", "Out of Exile".r

This album was definatly not as good as Their self titled but it is good. Chris cornell still brings in some great vocals. And songs like Be yourself have great meanings. some songs do have questionable parts but its not so bad that i cant overlook it
