Was pretty interested to hear what Mallory Knox would do with this third album. As they said this
was their album that would make their name. In my opinion it falls short. The songs they
released before the album release were good ("Giving it up", "Lucky Me", "Better Off Without
You"). "Giving it Up" is probably the best and most original song on the album. I'll take
"Wired" (the song) and add it to the might not skip list. Falling in Love is a nice change of
pace and still holds the Mallory Knox that we have heard before. "For you" doesn't sound like it
belongs however that doesn't make it bad, haven't decided completely on it yet. I know Mallory
Knox have an Alternative Rock or Pop-Rock approach however the rest of the songs have this
mediocre happy go lucky pop feel to them more so than before. They lost some of that "Rock"
feeling that their previous albums had. I do enjoy the odd addition from Sam in their
previous work, however in this album his voice adds too much to the "pop" factor and in my opinion
is used too much. Let Mikey do his thing. The songs that are good hold up however the
others are boring and don't sound very creative.
