first major contendor for worst album of the year. not even disappointing. worst. the album starts off with a bombastic intro that made me feel like i was in for another treat like t&y but maaan, was i wrong! uninspired beats that are either generic trap shit or too pop-ish, lyrics that are below-average for lupe. i don't know what lupe was trying to create here but wtv it was, not good. 1.5-

What a fat disappointment. It's such a mess of an album that the highlights have a tough time really poppin'. After Tetsuo & Youth, Lupe Fiasco had me excited for his career again. Never thought I'd say this, but he actually made an album worse than Lasers. Hopefully the rest of the album trilogy is dope, that is if the rest even get made at this point.
