bizarre how prophetic this album title turned out to be, considering all subsequent mediocrity

No doubt the influence of 90s emo is all over this band and they absolutely do throw a good deal of that style of music and lyricism into the album, but I'd hate for someone to think this is like a Sunny Day Real Estate tribute or something because this is absolutely a dance-punk record first and foremost before it's an emo record. The lyrics are emotional and biting (and occasionally simplistically brilliant in their familiarity) and there are definitely somber moments and influences through out, but there are also a bunch of REALLY catchy songs full of just the right amount of angst that will make you want to dance and shout the lyrics along.rOne of the best new groups in 2017 I've discovered, thanks Sputnik.

this is the most fun i've had with any release this year. "eat shit," "trying 2 fool u," and "yer killing me" is my favorite stretch of songs on any album this year.

the mixing is really rough around the edges but for the most part, this is a great emo revival with catchy melodies, memorable vocals, glorious hooks and relatable lyrics. pretty solid. 4

These guys are blowing up around my city right now (minneapolis) and this album proves that an emo 90's revival is upon
us and they do it in awesome and fun fashion. It's nice to see a straight up 3 piece band playing only their instruments
making meaningful EMO. Reminds me of 1994 when i was a kid.
