Dave Knudson's talent is wasted on the creative wasteland this band has become over their last three records.

Band missed their calling as major label "pseudo-indie" sellouts, they want to be on 2010s "alternative" playlists so badly it hurts.

During my first listen it took until track 6 "Silver", when i realised that i had been drifting away in thoughts. Most of the songs before are pretty generic radio rock songs that could easily fit on "OMNI".The second good track is the closer "Lighthouse". Even though it does not reach the songwriting quality of "Planet of Ice", it is an interesting listen and has a typical MTB flair. Unfortunatelly, there are no more mentionable tracks on "VOIDS". Overall this could be the low point of their career. 2.8/5

If you hate post-Planet of Ice MTB, this won't convince you they're good again. If you don't despise the change in style, this is a solid release.

The album is composed mostly by 'filler' songs (Minus the Bear 'filler' isn't bad per
se) . Not terrible but kinda bland. (3)
