3.0 good | Resident Metalhead Piranha | July 14th 17 | The production is spot-on, the style is reminiscent of old school thrash, and it's played with loads of energy, but it's derivative and lacking in originality. "Total War" is a nifty tune for sure, but the band doesn't stand out as a relentless, creative force, instead opting for a safe sound that isn't very demanding.

2.5 average | FirstStrikeIsDeadly | October 5th 14 | There just isn't very much dimension to this. There are some cool riffs and cool leads, and the singer's voice is cool as first until you're twenty minutes into the album, at which point things just feel like a drag. Many parts of it are more than headbangable, but there's nothing that really stands out here. I'm glad that the old school thrash attitude extended to the production. Guitars slice and chug, the drums sound great and have that classic thrash vibe, and overall it doesn't sound too loud or brickwalled. No bass, though.

4.5 superb | Dethtrasher | October 17th 09 | War Without End is without a doubt one of the best modern thrash metal albums to date. This album is pure thrash metal mayhem. Warbringer has taken influences from almost every possible thrash band that this world has. The vocalist sounds like a screaming obsessed maniac, the guitar spews out onslaughts of orgasmic riffs, shredds and solos and the drumming pretty damn intense and flawless. And like many other thrash bands that has emerged in the 21st century, Warbringer plays with passion and love for thrash. It might not be as nostalgic as Violator's debut album but this album has all the required aspects of being a solid thrash metal album. Not necessarily a must-have but it has a lot of golden moments that thrashers will enjoy. Best tracks: Total War, Shoot To Kill, Systematic Genocide and Instruments Of Torture.

2.5 average | jjbraunius | June 22nd 08 | The single from this CD gave me a better impression than the rest - the band wears on rather fast and so does the production. The guitar sounds and drums on this are godawful - and it doesn't have to do with whether it was analog or digital, it sounds badly recorded and badly mixed. The band performs well though so probably on tour they'll sound better.
