Such an amazing listen from start to finish. My favorite track has got be either Black & Blue or
Glow.

Amazing. Their best album by far. This is them at their most atmospheric, moody, but at the same time catchy, ear-pleasing and catharctic, also their most ambitious and unconventional (experimental if you will). I'm loving the ever-living fuck out of it.

Best album ever. Yeah.. the interludes are crap, but i love Black n Blue, Dissolve, Thorns, Glow, Blacktop and OK. Never loved a song as hard as Black & Blue

Good album to smoke to. Ok is a great track if you're feeling down, really connected with it. Too
many instrumental tracks. Suddenly, I Was Alone was great though. This album doesn't even come
close to HWBWP. Sadly, not much else for me to say here.

After expanding their sound album after album I'm not surprised that this album sounds like it does. Being As An Ocean have basically abandoned their melodic hardcore sound, and their all the better for it. I honestly felt that they've been getting better the more they distance themselves from their original sound. The production is fantastic, the electronics are for the most part well placed, and the cleans continue to be absolutely fantastic. the thing that really drags this album down is all the interludes. While none of them are bad except The Powers That Be (the actual layout of that track's title is trash), they for the most part add nothing but to eat up time. This is still far and away the bands best effort, I just wish it was a little more focused. I think if they can focus a bit more on their next effort, they could release a true classic.
