Doesn't hold a candle to 'Naturkraft' -- feels like a less mature, less interesting, less cool younger sibling of that album who really should lay off the Bathory a bit.

Don't know if it was intentional, but this is some really catchy black metal with a pagan twist. Album is a blast to listen to through and through. AOTY candidate for me.

a very atmospheric album about the dark and rowdy times of the medieval. The vocals and the music combine well to a complex sound and let you feel the sinister decades of a time long ago. Fave tracks: Alles in einem Schnitt, Totenräumer

Folky black metal, which is way more my speed than the usual servings we're treated to. Other than a few borderline comical moments, Turm am Hang has an intriguing if not entirely complex atmosphere, and I find it strikes the right balance between warmth and darkness.
