I don't know how to explain it, but something about this album is very comforting. It's the musical equivalent of being a kid snuggled up in a warm blanket during December while Christmas lights and classic Christmas movies guide you to sleep.

When people let me down or friends disappear this is the record I turn to. It's like a warm hug that lifts you up after a bad day. You're discouraged, filled with self-doubt and anxiety, and then Samson sings "I know you might roll your eyes at this, but I'm so glad that you exist." We all need to hear words so simple yet so beautiful. And we all need to hear this wonderful little album.

My go-to happy album. Whenever anything good happens to me, I listen to this album. When i'm trying to feel better about myself, i listen to this album. Samson pens the greatest lyrical album ever in this masterpiece, with songs like "One Great City!" and "Reconstruction Site" being particular lyrical masterpieces. The musicianship is superb as well, giving us a nice variety that keeps the listener on his toes. Also, eric's review for this is top 10 reviews on this site. go check it out.

It's kind of like Samson takes every piece of embarrassing teenage poetry you ever regret writing, takes the messages to heart, and channels it through a wise eye of rare maturity. Basically, it's your life's shadow stepping away and talking to you. Basically.
