Classic Rock is honestly not for me but there?s no way you can just ignore the incredible songwriting and honest lyrics. A landmark album, even if it?s not my speed I can appreciate what it did for music. And you know something I would die for free bird, you could put that solo on any genre of music and it would be an immense song, I love that song regardless of my feelings for the rest of the album

A lot of the songs here transcend genre to emerge has emotional personal ballads of Van Zant. Lynyrd Skynyrd was a band that hadn't exactly released any material in the time from the band's inception in high school; and yet they absolutely knew their sound like seasoned veterans of southern rock. rThey lived the music they played.
