Where many bands attempt to be loud an overpowering for the sake of being loud and overpowering, this band stands out because of it's concept which really fleshes out the sound to another level. The intense waves of reverb and other shoegaze sounds are used to mirror the waves of pain the protagonist is feeling. A great way to make a concept album which rings just as much in the music as the lyrics.

In all honesty, this kinda feels like Deathconsciousness minus the best parts. Still among the best (read: most tolerable) drone I've listened to. Definitely something I need to be in the mood for, and when I am, this album really clicks. Still, I would never really pick this over Deathconsciousness.

An absolutely relentless barrage of fuzz, heaviness and atmosphere. The album has a dreamlike sound throughout its duration and even manages to be relaxing at some points.

This is one of those albums I've never doubted giving a classic rating to. It took me a few listens to fully understand, like all good albums should, but when I finally did it blew me away. That album art says it all - this is a monumental, emotional and truly beautiful release. R.I.P. K. Angylus
