This album is incredible. Such a strong statement of black culture and black identity. Production is flawless. The features are amazing. Every transition from song to interlude flow perfectly, and the interludes are such great moments of reflection. I'm in love with this album.

Despite being the sister of a mega star, Solange is in her own lane. "A Seat At The Table" is an unusual, but likeable listen. I for one am a fan of the underdog, which in her own way, Solange is in fact, an "underdog". Though packed with a whopping 21 tracks, I found at least 5 or 6 to be playlist material.
