Feels a little closer to AILD with the unique melody that Wovenwar has forged for itself. Their debut was decent, but this has much more replay value.

Definitely a fantastic second offering with an incredible amount of heavier near AILD intensity more than the first album
carried. Shane Blay has evolved into one of the best vocalists around and screams on this more than he ever has in his
music career and sounds almost as good as Micah Kinard from his other band Oh Sleeper. The melodic aspects have taken
a backseat however and thats part of Phil's Sgrosso's departure as rhythm guitarist. Also Josh Gilbert barley has any vocal
contributions which is unfortunate because he has some talent as well. overall an amazing album but not as strong as their
first. 4.2/5

Another excellent output from Wovenwar. Although the songwriting is pretty straightforward they amp up the aggression that was not heard on their debut album, while doing some experimenting on songs like "Compass". These guys still have some untapped potential and I can't wait for what's to come.
