Front heavy, the first four or five songs are among the most enjoyable the band has written.
Catchy, poetic and genuine alternative rock with atmosphere and light pop influences.
Vocals, guitars, drumming... all top notch. A noticeable improvement over Jealous Gods,
which was a solid but somewhat underwhelming release. The last half however falls into some
of the bands worse habits. Slow and "emotional" songs for the sake of being slow and
"emotional" (see: Moonlight Kissed) or meandering songs that can't quite decide what they
want to be and never hit that catchy/emotional/powerful crescendo the listener is waiting
for (see: Center Stage, The Labyrinth).
