5.0 classic | Bierlag | November 5th 16 | Amazing record, improving the awesome sound of "Behind the Shadows Lie Madness" but with even better
musicianship. The songs flow from start to finish in one unique journey. It's necessary to listen to this in one go.
An instant classic of death metal.

0.0 | emester | February 4th 17 | Very impressive tech death with soaring and memorable melodies. My main problem is with the
mix, which happens to shit the bed too often and results in a muddled mess. However, thank god
for the Hi DR version, which pretty much eliminates my complaint entirely, making this soundoff
useless.

3.0 good | zaruyache | February 1st 17 | weird kind of melodic death metal with hella riffs but it only hella riffs every once in a while,
and is otherwise inconsistent imo so it's not that great.
That one riff in "When the Stars Align" is the best dm riff of 2016 by leaps and bounds tho.

4.0 excellent | SuzyC | December 22nd 16 | Fantastic start to finish. Wish the mastering job wasn't so crushed though. Gets kinda painful after a while.

4.0 excellent | Panzerchrist | November 2nd 16 | "The songwriting is a bit wonky here and
there"
Do you even Mithras?
Bump |
4.0 excellent | lalchimiste | November 2nd 16 | The flow and execution Mithras display on this album is impeccable. Addictive melodies ebb and rflow while most of the tracks perfectly segues into one another resulting in an engaging front to rback listen. The only drawback is the overly compressed production, a questionable choice for rmusic with such a broad range of dynamics, which can cause a bit of ear fatigue after the 56 rminute runtime.

0.0 | Black Daimon | October 24th 16 | Nothing but consistency here, they don't really expand their sound, but they do continue their style of atmospheric tech death beautifully

4.0 excellent | Thor | October 24th 16 | Mithras' epic return is essentially the Morbid Angel album we have desperately needed

4.0 excellent | ShakeSoda | October 21st 16 | Imagine a spacier and more melodic Domination-era Morbid Angel, and you wouldn't be too
far from what you're getting with On Strange Loops . Very interesting release from
these guys.

4.0 excellent | FrozenVain | October 19th 16 | The songwriting is a bit wonky here and there and some of the riffs aren't the most
creative but the signature Mithras chaotic space atmosphere is stronger than ever on this
one, which I really dig. The Outer Dark is crazy. Recommended (y).
