Fire From The Tomb is a lot more raw than the self-titled it's based off of, and it's better because of it. Favorite songs are "Battle On" and "Only The Strong Survive".

So there is always thought that every song will sound the same when it comes to initially listening to a metalcore album. I must admit, i had this thought when i first started listening to the tracks but upon my second listen, i realized that they were all quite distinguishable. But moving on to the actual songs, the riffs are so wonderful and are not always composed of the same ol' ones with a dropped open note. Also, even though this may be a common thing nowadays, there are solos in almost every song. These solos truly bring the songs to life and they are full of melody with just enough shreddy bits. Like many War of Ages fans will know, the lyrics are positive themed and they kind of balance out the seesaw with the furious music on the other side.
