3.2 good | Trey STAFF | April 5th 17 | Kind of a modern take on the doom sound made famous by Candlemass, Solitude Aeturnus, and Isole. I'm not going to lie, though, the modern influence in the music seems to take a lot from Trivium (around the Crusade/Shogun era).

2.5 average | Ebola | March 17th 17 | There's certainly nothing offensive about The Raven Age's debut LP, but then again, perhaps that would've been preferable to this 75-minute snooze fest.

2.5 average | Xenorazr | March 17th 17 | Bland metalcore that fails to earn its demanding length (75 minutes). While the music is technically functional with somewhat redeeming vocals and adequate production, it's in dire need of several jumpstarts.

4.0 excellent | TheMoonchild | March 15th 17 | The British metallers are desperate to prove themselves as more than the band whose guitarist is Steve Harris, and opened for the 2016 of Iron Maiden's colossus world tour, so they drop a 75 minute debut LP that dabbles in Groove Metal and Metalcore with even some elements of thrash and prog for good measure.rAnd they succeed.
