Speechless... after listening to so many underwhelming pop punk releases this year, this band just blows me away. I loved their past releases that had a really hardcore edge but this one combines so much other elements to that hardcore edge. They meshed some grunge revival, 90's alt rock, pop punk, and hardcore to this record. The way floreani sings and the versatility of all the songs in the album show how musically talented these guys are and I hope that they become the biggest thing in pop punk this year. Neck deep is good but they don't innovate. I need innovation to trump so that bands will keep pushing to get the next great sound rather than copying for the sake of selling music.

Singles are so misleading. This has about 5 times the amount of aggression I anticipated based on the tracks they released prior to the release of the album. Overall much more diverse than their debut, with lots of variety in the vocals and an improvement in the lyrics as well.

A blend of pop punk and hardcore: hell yeah easycore! Not exactly though: there are major emo vibes here, which works for the best (emotional response) and the worst (sappiness). Good stuff that I'd have liked much more 10 years ago.
