This is a lot better than people give it credit for. I much prefer this version of Berlin to the track on Berlin.. Though I totally understand why Lou had to change it up to fit the somber tone of that album

The music on Lou Reed's debut, Lou Reed, isn't the best but it's all about lyrics and when you listen closly enough, his penance for weaving stories with music rivals even that of Bob Dylan.
