I can't believe this is the same band that released songs like "HTML Rulez DOOd". This release is superb and is a big welcome change for the band. This is a very unique album and the best output for TDWP so far.

i have no idea what's happened to these guys since "Plagues" because that's the last full album of theirs i've listened to (and some other songs here and there), and transitioning from generic Rise Records scene kid trash, to this almost kinda ambient kinda proggy metalcore, with incredibly improved vocals and instrumental work that's very well constructed and thought out, and actually refreshing breakdowns. This album is almost classic material, definitely a step up, and I'm glad this band has opened their key to reach their full potential

A truly varied and exquisite sounding album form start to finish. They seemed to have adopted more of a reflective experimental sound which fits them supremely well. There is no certain formula that they follow and that is unpredictably refreshing. While Zombie still reigns for their best material imo, this is their most mature and refined release full of new soundscapes and dynamics. 4.7/5

Hardcore TDWP lover right here, but without my bias on them I can still say this album is something totally different. It really is a step above anything else they've ever done. Plagues will always be my favorite though.

Fantastic release from a band that has really improved their sounds since their first records. One of the most atmospheric I've heard. This is huge drop for the scene! A must listen for fans of metalcore with a creative, almost "haunting" edge!

Already from the singles released, this album sounds like the band is finally unlocking their
total potential. Instrumentals, vocals, consistency, and songwriting have taken massive bounds of
improvement.

A rather experimental shift for the band that is really firing on rall cylinders, Also "Daughter" and "Key of evergreen" are still fantastic songs. TDWP is transitioning, but they never lose sight of who they are. What the hell are old-school fans rabout? this goes harder than their first 2 records

After listening through a few more times I could accept the lapse in judgement known as "Worldwide". Album as a whole moves from 3.5-4.0, great atmosphere, beautiful raw vocals via Mike, and instrumentally sound from start to finish. Lyrics (in general) aren't actually that bad and some depth can be found in each song.rUpdate: More of 3-3.5: Probably my favourite TDWP LP though.

TDWP have, at long last, released a cohesive, interesting, thoughtful album which reveals their stylistic evolution into atmospheric progressive metalcore. The vocals are (finally) on point, the musicianship stronger than ever, and the lyrics resonate with poetic purpose in every track. I haven't had this much fun listening to TDWP since '07. Favourite track: To The Key of Evergreen

Well this came out of buttfucking nowhere. Transit Blues sees TDWP tweak their sound with some La Dispute-esque clean passages and dropping the incessant breakdowns to great effect. Mike's lyrics are still a mixed bag, but the experimention leads to a wholly enjoyable album from a band I thought had all but run out of steam.

in the genre and the magnum opus of a band that was always good but never great that out of nowhere
